TECHNICAL CONCEPT

The PKR is based on a robust and maintenance-friendly machine concept:

• Heavy-duty rotor with 980mm cutting diameter
• Working width of 3.2 m for high throughput and easy loading by wheel loader or grab
• Solid machine frame for maximum stability – BUILD TO LAST
• Optimised cutting system with precisely adjustable cutting gap, based on Form C teeth with 174mm height
• Modular design for flexible adaptation to customer requirements

The well-engineered design ensures uniform shredding with high energy efficiency.

DRIVE CONCEPT – MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY

The PKR offers various drive concepts that can be optimally matched to each application:

• Direct drive with synchronous torque motor (up to 157 kW)
• Dual motor configuration for maximum power

With a maximum torque of up to 200,000 Nm the PKR is suitable even for particularly demanding materials.

The drive unit can be flexibly installed on the left or right side of the machine. Retrofitting an additional drive is also possible, further underlining the high flexibility of the concept.

MAINTENANCE & SERVICEABILITY

A key design goal was easy and safe maintenance:

• Large maintenance door with hydraulic opening
• Direct access to rotor and stator
• Integrated lifting device for comfortable service work
• Rotor replacement from above without dismantling the drive
• Quickly accessible screen unit

These features reduce downtime and ensure high plant availability.

The PKR impresses with numerous well-thought-out engineering solutions:

• Self-centring screen holder system
• Adjustable cutting gap for optimum shredding
• Optional pusher for light materials
• Symmetrical hopper geometry

• Shredding of refuse-derived fuels (RDF)
