A long-standing partnership that successfully connects

Hungary: Together with its long-standing trading partner Profi-Bagger Kft., ALLRECO put another plant for processing household waste and residual waste into operation in Hungary in October 2021. ALLRECO supplied four core components for this plant, which was designed entirely in partnership, consisting of CERON TYPE 206 pre-shredder, SM 620 A screening machine, WS 1502 air separator and the CURO TYPE 250 fine shredder.

The four ALLRECO system components determine the main processing of the waste: pre-shredding, screening, sifting and post-shredding.

Pre-shredding

The CERON, which can be controlled in several ways, reduces the input material to a particle size of < 300 mm and feeds the material into the downstream plant technology. Features of the pre-shredder are its insensitivity to impurities, the simple adjustment of the product particle size and the fully automatic shredding process. The energy efficiency thanks to the controlled direct drive, the always suitable output quantity and the sophisticated maintenance concept are impressive from the very first second.

Screening

The SM trommel screening machine is a bit like a mousetrap - in the sense that no component can be omitted without impairing its function. The horizontal drum with screw conveyor, which has been tried and tested a thousand times over, also transports household waste that requires screening continuously through the drum. The best screening results are a prerequisite for efficient household waste processing. The undersize particles < 80 mm are sent to biological drying, while the screen overflow is further processed using an air separator.

Sifting

The WS works in a recirculating air process including a separator for suspended particles in the process air. The machine can be perfectly adapted to the volatile input material thanks to various setting options. The selectable working width, in this case 1500 mm, means that the machine is perfectly matched to the throughput of the system.

Secondary shredding

The target product is a high-calorific fraction free of impurities. This is cut to a particle size of < 30 mm in the CURO secondary shredder. The CURO TYPE 250 is the robust and powerful basis for the uniform shredding of high-calorific fractions that are processed into refuse derived fuel. The 2 m long roller is driven by a 250 kW three-phase motor, can reverse if necessary and can start up with material under load without having to be emptied. The complex design simplifies integration into a complete system and the large maintenance doors provide good accessibility which, together with the simple removal of the tools (knives and screen baskets), enables very short maintenance and set-up times. The utilization of the rotor drive is kept constant by the load-controlled pressing device - so the machine always works at maximum capacity. By continuously feeding the machine, the fine shredder reliably produces substitute fuels, which are becoming increasingly important both ecologically and economically.

Good to know

In the recent past alone, ALLRECO and the Hungarian company Profi-Bagger have successfully commissioned 20 plant components.
