AK 440 VE – More output, less wear
Reliable quality, versatility and cost-effectiveness in stationary fine shredders – that is what the AK 440 VE provides with its powerful electric motor in every processing plant.
The freely oscillating flails in conjunction with the shredding basket form the key to the AK 440 VE’s success. In addition, the shredder also features a well-engineered drive concept: The main electronic drive motor transmits its power to the flail drum via a V-belt drive, while the scraper floor and infeed roller are directly driven by their own electric motors. Doing so ensures that the AK 440 VE always operates at peak performance.
Hydraulics are only used to open and close the fine-shredding basket. The use of different shredding baskets in the AK 440 VE allows for generating precisely defined grain sizes. The baskets can be interchanged very easily and quickly – just like the flails with their patented fastening system. Since the flail tips automatically avoid larger obstructions during the shredding process, the AK 440 E moreover impresses in this context thanks to the significantly reduced wear and tear.
The AK 440 VE can be combined with every shredding tool of mobile AK machines and is thus extremely versatile in use – be it fine-shredding of bio-waste and green waste for composting, different wood grades for waste wood processing and biomass processing facilities or a variety of other shredding tasks for recycling.
